Macro Mode: Economic Data Is Complex. Now It's Simple Too.
TL;DR
- LPMR Delta now covers macroeconomic data, not just SEC filings and equities.
- Macro Mode ships with twelve curated categories and 115+ cycle-tagged indicators, updated live.
- Every series carries a behavior tag, so you can see market regime at a glance, not just the raw number.
- Chart any indicator instantly, layer in related series, and add regime bands for context.
- Included in every plan, free and paid, no separate add-on.
Why Macro Data Needed the Same Treatment
When we launched LPMR Delta, the starting point was SEC filings, because that data was complex, important, and poorly served by existing tools. Macro data has the same problem, just from a different angle.
Economic releases are scattered across a dozen sources, published on inconsistent schedules, and rarely labeled in a way that tells you what they actually mean for markets right now. A GDP print or a jobs report doesn’t come with context on where it sits in the current cycle. You’re left cross-referencing charts by hand just to answer a simple question: is this good news or bad news, right now, for this market?
That’s the gap Macro Mode closes.
What’s in Macro Mode
-
Twelve Categories, Built the Way Economists Think: Growth, Inflation, Labor, Monetary Policy, Liquidity & Credit, Financial System, Markets Risk, Housing, Fiscal, Trade & External, Global Policy, and Commodities. These aren’t arbitrary groupings, they mirror how economists actually segment the data, so you’re not hunting across menus to find related series.
-
115+ Series, Each With a Behavior Tag: Every indicator, from Real GDP to the VIX, carries a behaviour tag like Leading, Lagging or Coincident, so you know what kind of signal you’re looking at before you even open the chart.
-
An Economic Calendar That Doesn’t Make You Wait: New releases, from housing starts to bond auctions, show up as soon as they’re published. No next-day batch updates.
-
Instant, Interactive Charts: Tap any indicator card to jump straight into its chart. Years of historical data load instantly, so long-term trends are visible immediately, not after a loading spinner.
-
Curated Series Suggestions: When you’re viewing one indicator, LPMR Delta surfaces related series matched to that indicator’s current cycle position, so you can build out a fuller picture without leaving the chart. Search is still there if you want to add anything beyond the curated picks.
-
Regime Bands, Not Just Recession Shading: Most tools give you a gray bar for recessions and call it context. Macro Mode goes further: layer in bands for Fed policy cycles, inflation regimes, and more, so you can see what environment the market was actually in at any point in the series, not just whether a recession was technically underway.
